The Project Management Unit is responsible for designing and constructing utility, roadway, and sidewalk projects; coordinating and inspecting the utility and public roadway with work of developers; and optimizing traffic flow through the City. Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding our projects, or about utility locations and availability.

 

Maintenance requests (potholes, water main breaks, traffic signal and streetlight outages, damaged traffic signs, etc.) are handled by the Customer Service Center at 734-794-6000.  In case of emergency, please dial 911.

In March, the City of Ann Arbor developed a list of “shovel-ready” transportation projects that were ideal for funding via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (AARA) of 2009.
