Natural Areas Preservation (NAP)
NAP projects take volunteers well beyond the realm of litter clean-up into broader areas of maintaining biodiversity and restoring damaged ecosystems.  Through the combination of hands-on involvement and scientific understanding, we hope to encourage and support a connection between individual volunteers and their surrounding natural environment.  Provides year-round opportunities, however the bulk of the work is during the growing season.

Adopt-A-Park
The City of Ann Arbor owns over 2000 acres of parkland at 162 locations. Thousands of Park Adopters have been planting and maintaining flower beds and trees; maintaining trails; painting and caring for park structures; cleaning up litter;  and generally making sure the park is in order. The activities you can choose to do in your favorite park is primarily limited only by the needs of the park and your interest!
