Master Business Recycler

Program summary

Looking for ways to operate your business more efficiently, reduce operating costs, better market your business, or help other businesses to do the same? Implementing waste reduction and recycling operations can pay for themselves and make your business more competitive.

The Michigan Recycling Coalition’s Master Business Recycler Training is designed to help you develop and implement a successful waste reduction and recycling program for your business. Participants receive a manual and other resources.

Training participants will learn about the benefits of recycling in business:

1. How to conduct an on-site waste and energy assessment.

2. Understand the flow of waste through the operation and how to implement a program.

3. Learn about the local recycling resources available and how to gain the support of management and staff for the program.

4. Promote the business inside and out for your sustainable materials management practices.
