The city’s intial response in all snow and ice events is to clear 94 miles of major streets. After handling the major streets, city crews then clear 200 miles of residential streets. The route schedule is determined by many factors, and is not usually in numerical sequential order, e.g., route 7 may be cleared after route 9, etc.
