In early December, the City of Ann Arbor temporarily suspended its online request system. While the system served the city well for seven years, its platform was no longer supported by many web browsers and therefore could not provide the level of service residents of Ann Arbor deserve. The City is in the process of implementing a new online citizen request system in spring 2014. This new system will accept requests through smart phones as well as the city’s website. Thank you for your patience during the next several months as we make this transition.
To submit a city service request, please contact Customer Service at 734.794.6320 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. Requests can be submitted for a variety of services, including pothole repairs, street light or sign and signal repair, park maintenance, graffiti removal, and sidewalk issues.
When submitting your request, please have ready:
- Address or location of the issue
- Contact information including phone number and/or e-mail
- Specific description of the issue
If your request is a life threatening emergency, dial 911.

- Sanitary sewer back-ups
- Water main breaks
- Rusty water
- Storm drain plugged
- Basement flooding
