Tom Crawford joined the City of Ann Arbor as Chief Financial Officer and Financial Services Administrator on July 6, 2004. A resident of Ann Arbor, Tom has been employed most recently by Ford Motor Company. Previously, Tom worked for the FDIC & Federal Office of Thrift Supervision examining financial institutions.
City Administrator Roger Fraser believes that Tom will bring to the City’s leadership team particular expertise in business planning, financial planning and management, performance management, financial reporting, cross-functional teams and quality services. Those who interviewed Tom were impressed with his personal values, professionalism and "fit" within our City organization-as well as his enthusiasm. Tom hails from North Carolina, but now happily calls Ann Arbor, Michigan "home," even during Big Ten football Saturdays.
