The Information Technology Service Unit is organized to support the diverse needs of the City organization and information & technology services for the City are delivered around five core areas:
Administration
Providing strategic and day-to-day direction over the Information Technology Service Unit
Application Delivery
Providing business applications support services for over thirty unique business including Police and Fire, Planning and Development, Customer Service, Finance, 15th District Court, Ann Arbor Housing Authority and Human Resources
Service Delivery
Providing core technology services to the City including desktops, laptops, voice, internet, email services and service desk
Project Delivery
Providing enterprise-wide project management services, ensuring successfull implementations of large projects
Architecture & Security
Providing strategic technology and security roadmaps, policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and value for our customers
