Veterans Memorial Park Outdoor Pool opens Saturday, May 25 for the 2013 season.
The Veterans Memorial Park Pool features a fan-shaped zero depth area with a “raindrop,” interactive water play apparatus, a handicap access ramp, and a 125 foot waterslide. Minimum height requirement for use of the slide is 42”.
This facility features: Concessions, lounge chairs, picnic area and grills, tennis and shaded deck areas.

Veterans Memorial Park Dolphins Swim Team
Join us for a registration session Monday, June 3, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. Our swim team provides an introduction to team competitive swimming, basic skill development and a strengthening program for more advanced swimmers. We provide an opportunity to compete in up to six swim meets and an area-wide conference meet through the Washtenaw Interclub Swimming Conference. Open to anyone ages 5 to 17 who can swim at least one length of the pool, front crawl. Practices are Monday through Friday mornings. Meets are held Saturday mornings. Practices are 7 to 9:30 a.m. and begin the week of June 17 and end the first week of August. The fee per child is $100 resident/$125 non-resident.
Saturday Splash Days at Veterans
Saturdays, June 29, July 27,and Aug. 24 from 2-4p.m. Regular pool admission. Special activities such as water balloon events, water baseball, raft races and a hula hoop relay. For youths ages 6 to 12. Look for other free fun activities during the summer as signs are posted at the facility.
Veterans Pool Vending & Food Policy
In addition to vending machines for snacks, and beverages. Personal food items are welcome within the facility excluding the pool deck. No glass or alcohol allowed.
