We have countless classes, lessons and special events planned for the 2010 Spring/Summer season including swimming, golf, canoeing/kayaking, day camps and actvities at the Ann Arbor Senior Center, Farmers Market and Cobblestone Farm. The new guide has been distributed around Ann Arbor and is available at all parks and recreation facilities including City Hall and the downtown library. Parks & Recreation Customer Service Office
Our business hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 8 to 5 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. for general park information, park shelter reservation, and scholarship assistance. In addition, a 24-hour drop box will be available for anyone wishing to drop off park contracts or scholarship applications. For more information, please call 734.794.6230.

  • Parks Lightning Detection System
    City of Ann Arbor pools, Gallup Canoe Livery and Huron Hills and Leslie Park Golf Courses are equipped with warning sirens that sound when area weather conditions are conducive for lightning. This system alerts parks users to get out of the water and off the golf courses to avoid the chance of a dangerous lightning strike.To find out more, visit the office of emergency management's lightning detection Web page or click on the parks lightning detection system map (3.07 MB pdf)

     
     

    HALF OFF: Season pool passes are now half-off and can be used at Buhr, Veterans Memorial and Fuller Park pools for all general swim times and Tot Splashes. Residents must live within the City of Ann Arbor and have proof of residency in order to qualify for the resident discount. If you were a pass holder last summer you can renew it online at any time. Visit www.a2gov.org/parks and log into our online registration system.
