The third annual NAP Photo Contest was a huge success! We received more than 250 photos that will be used to help educate the public about the area's beautiful natural features. Many are also included in the 2009 NAP Calendar, now available for pickup from our offices.
NAP would like to thank our sponsors: Foto 1, Ivory Photo, Bivouac, Format Framing, and Jordan Lovell Picture Framing in Ann Arbor; and Huron Camera in Dexter for donating prizes. We are also grateful to contest judges Don Werthmann and David Cappaert for donating their time and expertise.
The contest was so well received that we plan to run it again next year! Categories will be Stewardship and Native Trees and Shrubs of Southeastern Michigan. So keep your cameras ready, and watch out for that special shot that will capture the gold in 2009!
