 Frequently Asked Questions

When does the Farmers Market open?

We are actually open year-round on Saturdays!  Market hours are 8 am - 3 pm on Saturdays, January-April, and 7 am - 3pm on Wednesday and Saturdays, May-December.

Can you tell me if there will be honey / beaded necklaces / organic fava beans for sale at market tomorrow?

Although we can often make a pretty accurate guess, Ann Arbor Farmers Market staff do not know which specific vendors will be at market prior to the market day.

How much does it cost to be a vendor at the Farmers Market?

Stall rental rates are $25/stall daily, or $300/stall annually.  The annual rate is good for one fiscal year, July 1-June 30.

What is the deal with these newfangled electronic parking meters and how do I put money in them?

The farmers market does not control the parking meters but you may direct any concerns or comments to the Downtown Development Authority.  To pay, find one of the parking kiosks and follow the instructions on the screen.  There are three kiosks located near the market: one on the corner of Fourth and Catherine, one in the center of the market, and one by the angled parking spots on Detroit Street.

Can I use my EBT/Bridge Card at the Farmers Market?

Yes!  Stop by the office and we can help you transform your EBT benefits into delicious fresh food items.

I lost my keys / wallet / cellphone / sunglasses!  Help!

Oh no!  They might be in our office Lost and Found box.

Well, where the heck is the office?

It's located in the green building, near the restrooms, near the corner of Fourth and Catherine.
