Become a market volunteer!
The Ann Arbor Farmers Market is looking for volunteers! We have so many exciting things we hope to do this season, and we will only be able to accomplish our goals with your help. From one-time events to involvement with ongoing projects, there is an opportunity for everyone to contribute, helping ensure that the Ann Arbor Farmers Market remains a vibrant, fresh, exciting part of our community.
Some ideas of volunteer opportunities include:
*Scooping and serving ice cream or hanging decorations at one of our market festivals
*Documenting the weekly colors and characters, as a weekly market photographer
*Keeping shoppers and vendors alike updated on market goings-on, by contributing articles to the market newsletter
*Learning more about our wonderful cast of market vendors, by helping to complete our market oral history project.
*Conducting occasional market surveys, so we know exactly how the market is growing and changing over time
*Helping plan events that make the market more family- and kid-friendly.
*Anything else you can dream up!
If you are interested in becoming a market volunteer, please contact Molly Notarianni, the Market Manager, at mnotarianni@a2gov.org, or call the market office, at 734.994.3276.
