Gallup River Camps for completed 1st-5th Grades

Explore the Huron River with fishing, nets, and boats - a week filled with learning, adventure, and fun! Have your kids join us for perfect summer days as we canoe, paddleboat, kayak, fish, cookout, art, and play in wonderful Gallup Park. Campers will have a blast while gaining valuable boating and fishing skills around the pond and beyond. River Day Camp is based out of the Gallup Park Meeting Room adjacent to the canoe livery and our river themed playground. Our camps are licensed by the State of Michigan and the staff are certified in American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and Lifeguarding. Each camper receives a coupon to bring their family and friends back to share the boating fun!
Camp Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Camp Fees: $225 A2 Resident; $275 Non-Res

Extended Camp:
Offered before and after the Gallup River Camp for additional sand and water play, art, games, boats and fishing fun.
Hours: 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. & 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
Fees: $50 A2 Resident; $60 Non-Res

Gallup River Camp Discover -Completed 1st/2nd/3rd Grades |
| Young campers will discover the river world with paddleboats, kid size kayaks and fishing fun while staying close by in Gallup Pond. Playground sand and and water fun, exploring the wetlands, swimming at the pool, learning about river bugs and animals, playing games, creating art and having a cookout rounds out the week of river discovery. |

Gallup River Camp Explore - Completed 1st-5th Grades |
| The river camp for all ages, and perfect for siblings, to explore the Huron with canoes, paddleboats, kid size kayaks and fishing fun. The campers venture further out in the boats on Gallup Pond, enjoy a trip paddling canoes on beautiful Argo Pond and venture down the Argo Cascades on rafts. This camp may raft a short river trip depending on the water levels. Sand and water fun in the playground, discovering wetlands, swimming at the pool, playing games, learning about river bugs and animals, playing games, creating art and having a cookout rounds out the week of river exploration. |

Gallup River Camp Adventure - Completed 3rd/4th/5th Grades |
| The campers are now ready for adventures out on the ponds and beyond with canoes, paddleboats, kayaks and fishing fun. In addition to all the river activities around Gallup Park the River Camp Adventure goes boating in Argo Pond, rafts down the Cascades and paddles double kayaks down the river through town while stopping at Island Park for river critter discovery and picnic fun. Sand and water fun in the playground, discovering wetlands, swimming at the pool, playing games, creating art and having a cookout rounds out the week of river adventures. |

Argo River Camp for completed 6th/7th/8th grades

Friends and fun on the coolest river around! Join us on river journeys as each day we explore a different section of the beautiful Huron River. Our many adventures include canoeing, kayaking, fishing, geocaching and paddling over to Bandemer park for disc golf games and lunch over a bonfire. Argo River Camp is based out of a cabin at the Argo Livery & the Park Pavilion on picturesque Argo Pond. Campers receive a coupon to bring family & friends boating. Due to the outdoor adventure nature of this camp each session is limited to 12 campers.

- Cancellation Policy: Refunds must be requested in writing by fax or in person at the Gallup Park Canoe Livery office and are subject to a $10 service fee. If refund request is made 46 days or more prior to the start of your day camp session 100% of your class fee will be refunded, 30 to 45 days prior 50% of your class fee will be refunded, 15 to 29 days prior 25% of your class fee will be refunded, and 14 days prior 0% of your class fee will be refunded.
