Canoe Liveries Rules and Regulations

Providing safe fun, relaxation, and enjoyment is the primary objective of the canoe facilities operated by the Department of Parks and Recreation. To accommodate this need specific rules and regulations have been developed by the State of Michigan, Department of Public Health and through the City of Ann Arbor, Department of Parks and Recreation. The rules and regulations will be enforced uniformly throughout all canoe facilities.
  1. Lifejackets required and provided
  2. All must sign a risk waiver before entering a boat. Participation Agreement Form
  3. Alcohol, glass bottles and styrofoam coolers are not allowed
  4. No more than 3 people allowed in a canoe EXCEPT when when there is two participants with a combined weight of less than 100 lbs.
  5. No more than three people in a paddleboat
  6. A maximum of 5 people are allowed in a rowboat

PERK AND PADDLE CAFE
Serving fresh coffee and baked goods. The Perk and Paddle Cafe is located inside the Gallup Canoe Livery office. For Gallup's hours please see above.
