Fuller Park Outdoor Pool & Waterslide

There is something for everyone to enjoy at Fuller Pool including a waterslide; 7-lane, 50 meter lap pool; shallow area w/ramp access; 12’ deep diving well and plenty of open space and lounge chairs to relax. Located just minutes from downtown Ann Arbor and the North campus of the University of Michigan, Fuller Pool is directly across the street from the university hospitals and is open daily May 24 through Labor Day.

Season Passes
Summer season passes, on sale now, are valid from May 24 to Sept. 1, 2014. Season passes can be used at Buhr, Fuller and Veterans Memorial pools for all public swim times and tot splashes. Passes may be purchased at all of the pools, the Parks and Recreation Customer Service Center (Cobblestone Farm, 2781 Packard Road).

Adult Log Rolling Classes: Want to learn to log roll with other interested adults? Join us for one of our adult log rolling classes to get fit, learn a new skill, and have a great time doing it! All skill levels welcome for this 4 week class Fees: $55 resident/$70 nonresident. Space is limited to 8 participants. Water Aerobics
New this season, we will be offering water aerobics for swimmers and non-swimmers alike. You’ll experience the fun of a water exercise program including low-impact aerobic conditioning, stretching and strengthening. Everyone is welcome to our ramp-entry accessible pool for this eight-week class. Fees: $55 resident/$70 nonresident. Drop-ins welcome to any class. Red Cross Swim Lessons                                                          Group lessons are offered for children from the age of 6 months up through adult beginners. Class size is limited. Ability requirements must be honored unless prior instructor approval is granted. Registration will be accepted for any instructional swim class at any of the City Pools during any public swim time, by phone or online.

Private Lessons
Individual swim instruction for swimmers age 3 to adult. Each private lesson is 30 min long and customized to meet the needs of the swimming participant. Please call the pool to find out dates and times available; space is very limited. Private lessons are for one participant only.

Masters Swim
Masters is a group of people who are enthusiastic about swimming at Fuller Pool. They are focused on personal goals of fitness, training or simply having a good time with friends in an active environment. Some of our coaches and swimmers have been here for years - a true testament to our program and the quality of the workouts.  Swimming workouts are designed and written to help you achieve your personal goals. Please arrive 15 minutes before the first swim with payment to receive an evening masters pool pass.

Pool Rental
Rental times are available for parties, social groups and other occasions. We now have two picnic shelters within the pool enclosure available for groups to rent. Please call 734.794.6236 for information on rates.

Special Events
Summer Splash Day
Join us for an afternoon of special games, contests and prizes. Saturdays 2 to 4 p.m. June 21, July 19 and Aug. 16.  All activities and prizes are included in the cost of admission. We hope to see you there!

Dive-in Movies
Bring your own inner tube and float in the pool as you enjoy a family friendly movie,  Showtime is at 8 pm and admission is $5 for adults and $4 for children and seniors.

Day Camp

The fun starts in beautiful Fuller Park. Our camp headquarters are nestled in a bend of the Huron river and directly across the street from the University Hospitals. We spend most of our summer outside exploring from the parks to downtown. We will meet new friends, learn new skills and experience some of Ann Arbor's treasures! Our camp is licensed by the State of Michigan and our camp staff are certified in First Aid and CPR if they are not Lifeguard certified too. Each afternoon we will cool off in Fuller Pool and ride the waterslide. Camp registration is weekly, come one week or come for them all, we can't wait to meet you! AM and PM extended care is offered each week of camp and is now one low fee and includes drop off as early as 7:30 a.m. and pick up as late as 6:00 p.m.

 

Fee: $190 resident; $230 nonresident rate per week.

Camp hours: M-F, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Extended camp: 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 to 6 p.m. $50 resident; $60 non-resident.
