City of Ann Arbor day camps offer a safe and positive environment where children gain confidence and learn new skills while enjoying fun-filled days outside exploring our beautiful parks. Visit the camp links to discover the unique programming offered at each camp site.

Friends and fun on the coolest river around! Join us as we journey out each day paddling our boats down different sections of the beautiful Huron River. Our many explorations include kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, tubing, rafting, fishing, geocaching, disc golf games, and a bonfire lunch. Argo River Camp is based out of a cabin and pavilion at the Argo Canoe Livery. Because of the outdoor adventure nature of this camp, each session is limited to 12 campers.

Meet our staff, ask questions, and learn all about our camp at a Buhr Park Day Camp Open House for parents. Friday, June 12 from 6-8 p.m. From superheros to clowns, olympians to pirates; an adventure awaits each week for children ages 5-12. Our certified staff will lead a day filled with themed activities and swimming in Buhr Park Outdoor Pool. Enjoy a $20 per week discount if you register by April 30.

Wet, wild, and wacky camp! This fun and unique day camp will offer campers the opportunity to go on adventures; try new, exciting activities; and have fun with new friends in and out of the water. This year, we have all new programs to make any camper’s summer the best ever! Each week, we will spend time exploring all the fun the pool, river and park have to offer.  Campers will learn to log roll, raft down the river, enjoy waterslide races, have fun in our bounce house, play water polo, traditional camp games and sports, create crafts and even learn some basic swimming lessons. Our camp is licensed by the State of Michigan and all our staff are certified in First Aid/CPR and many are lifeguards and swim instructors. Join us for an awesome summer adventure! Enjoy a $20 per week discount if you register by April 30.

Gallup River Camp - Completed 1st-5th Grades
Our river camps, licensed by the State, have experienced instructors that understand the safety of on-water activities while balancing the importance of outdoor adventure. Our popular river camp programs teach kids how to explore and love their natural world all from the seat of a boat. Explore the Huron River with boats and fishing for a week filled with learning, adventure, and fun! Experience summer as we kayak, canoe, paddleboat, fish, cook-out, create art, and play in wonderful Gallup Park. Campers will have a blast outside while gaining valuable boating and fishing skills paddling the pond and beyond. All ages have fun swimming at the pool and rafting the cascades. Camp Explore floats the river in rafts, and Camp Adventure goes down the river in kayaks.

Huron Hil​​ls Golf

Huron Hills Junior Golf Camp

Huron Hills Golf Course will offer junior golf camps for boys and girls ages 8-15 years old. Young golfers of all abilities can have fun learning the game of golf, including the fundamentals and sportsmanship. This camp is great for beginner and intermediate junior golfers.

This camp is two hours, Monday through Thursday, for two weeks on the following dates: June 15-25 | June 29-July 9 | July 13-23 | July 27-Aug. 13* | Aug. 17-27, 9-11 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Each golfer will receive a Miles of Golf range card, a free round of golf at HHGC, a merchandise coupon for 20 percent off in our pro shop and a Junior Program tee shirt.

Fees: $125/camp, $15 off each additional sibling. *Please note, no class the week of Aug. 4 due to the junior championship.​

Leslie Science & Nature Center (LSNC) provides exemplary outdoor exploration experiences for children ages 4 through 13. Campers explore their world while we hike to Black Pond and beyond, dabble with scientific experiments, visit our Critter House and Raptor Enclosures, discover the delicious benefits of gardening, and enjoy the summer sunshine. We'll follow animal tracks, use binoculars to study birds, search for insects in the prairie, play games with new friends, build shelters, and much more. Older campers can sleep under the stars, learn survival skills, and complete a high-ropes course. Whether you've been to LSNC once or one hundred times, a new adventure awaits you this summer. Let's get outside!
