For any number of unpaid judgments, a court order to seize your vehicle may be obtained. Further, even without a court order, six (6) or more unpaid City and/or University citations may result in: (1) the impoundment of your vehicle without further notice, or (2) the loss of your right to renew your driver’s license. Also, your vehicle may be impounded for other unpaid citations as determined by the Ann Arbor Police Department. Towing results in additional expenses incurred by the owner of the vehicle.
