Progressions​:

Some union positions are subject to a progression procedure.  Progressions serve as a way for union employees to demonstrate additional technical competencies, knowledge and skills to enhance their benefit to the City.  This allows employees to increase their responsibilities and pay through demonstration of increased competencies.
