To pick up or retrieve property from the Property Unit:
Please call (734) 794-6952 to verify that your property is ready to be released. If your property is ready to be released an appointment will be scheduled between the business hours of Monday - Thursday 9 am - 3:30 pm. Property will not be released without an appointment. Please have your report number available when you call for an appointment.
Frequently Asked Questions
When can I get my property back ?
When the court case is complete and approval from the Prosecutor's Office is received. We will send you a letter that your property is available for you to pick up.
Did you lose keys or glasses?
Stop by the Police Reception Desk and look in our found box.
Where can I find a list of found property?
If you believe that a property item on the below list may be yours then contact the Property Unit during business hour Monday - Thursday 9 am - 3:30 pm. You will be asked to provide a more detailed description in order to prove ownership.
