 2009 Downtown Street Resurfacing

Overview

The following Downtown streets are scheduled for resurfacing in 2009:

  • Liberty Street (Main St to Division)
  • Fourth Ave (Liberty to Huron)
  • Packard Road (Hill to Division)

Liberty Streeet and Fourth Ave will be under construction together and it is expected that this road work will take approximately eight weeks.  The Packard Rd construction is expected to take about six weeks and will begin following the completion of Liberty and Fourth.

Traffic will be maintained in one direction on each of these streets during construction with the opposite direction detoured to nearby streets.

The exact schedule and many of the details of the work are yet to be determined.

On Thursday, January 29, we will hold an open house to gather your input. Please join us if you're available.
