Safe Passages Great Lakes Days Spring: March 15 - May 31; Fall: Aug. 15 - Oct. 31. Help protect the safety of migrating birds each season. Remember to turn off lights on tall buildings between the hours of 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. (or sunrise) from the fifth floor and above during peak bird migration times.
