 Frog and Toad Survey

A Wood Frog (Rana sylvatica) in one of our fabulous nature areas

Our Frog & Toad Survey Kickoff for 2012 is Saturday, March 10th from 1:30 - 3:00pm. Spend this winter getting to know Michigan frog and toad calls. Go out in the field and familiarize yourself with the parks whenever you can, then come to the kickoff and learn how to record your observations and hone your skills. Surveying is done three to six times from the early spring through June at multiple sites, and each visit takes a few hours. No previous experience required. Family-friendly.

Registration is required!
Please call us at 734-794-6627 or email us at
nap@a2gov.org to RSVP before March 8th.
