Proposed Fourth & Fifth Avenues Historic District
Below you will find the preliminary report for the Proposed Fourth and Fifth Avenues Historic District, as well as survey sheets for each property in the study area, for public review. The Study Committee that prepared the preliminary report was appointed by City Council in September 2009, and the Committee adopted the report on Feb. 16, 2010.
The Study Committee will be holding a public hearing in early May, shortly after the sixty day waiting period required by state law. If you have comments, you may submit them in writing to the Study Committee by emailing them to hdc@a2gov.org or mailing them to my attention at the address above, or you may speak at the public hearing. The date for the hearing will be published on the City website and broadcast via email for subscribers to Planning Updates through the GovDelivery system. Owners and residents within the proposed district boundaries will receive notification of the public hearing date by mail. After the public hearing, the report will be transmitted to City Council for their consideration and possible action.
