Pioneer Living Program
With the assistance of the Volunteer Outreach Coordinator, the Pioneer Living Program is continuing to be a unique and educational experience for children and our volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering for this program, please email email@example.com for more information.
Cobblestone Farm offers the Pioneer Living Program to children ages 4 through those currently enrolled in 5th grade. The updated program meets State of Michigan standards and objectives for children in grades K-5. Each PLP session consists of a discussion, center activity, games, and a snack all themed around early Pioneer life. Activities will take place in the log cabin and on Cobblestone Farm property.
Each PLP session is 2 hours long. Sessions are offered every Monday and Wednesday at 12:30pm and Fridays at 9:30am. The program is scheduled by appointment. Cost is $5/child with a minimum of 15 children and a maximum of 30 children. Teachers, leaders, and parents are free.
Fall session starts September 24 to October 31.
