Huron River Flow Rates
The Huron River flow rate and depth changes with our seasons of snow, rain and sunshine. Located in Ann Arbor on the Huron River is a USGS gage that measures the River Depth Levels that we use to measure the flow of the river. If the cubic feet per second (cfs) river flow is greater than 600 cfs we begin to restrict canoeing & kayaking depending on skill level and age.
