Bike to Wherever Day

Friday, May 8, 2026 7-10 a.m. 

Please join Walk Bike Washtenaw, the City of Ann Arbor, GetDowntown, and businesses across the community in celebrating Bike to Wherever Day. A network of pop-up commuter stations, hosted by local businesses and organizations, will be out to support you along the way with free food, drinks, games, and more from 7-10 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026.

All stations will be open 7am-10am unless noted by location

*A new game was created for BTWD 2026, and its BINGO. Visit BTWD stations and perform different tasks as you ride. Complete one row, column or corner to corner and turn in your card to win prizes! Submit at BTWD@a2gov.org to be entered to win!

The Bingo Card will be available at Stations on May 8 below or you can download your copy on May 7. Only one entry per person.

  1. Thurston Elementary School – 2300 Prairie Street Ann Arbor – hosted by Thurston Parent Teacher Organization (7:45am-9:15am station time)

  1. City Hall - 301 E. Huron St hosted by City of Ann Arbor Transportation Services Unit 

  1.  On the Border to Border Trail near Argo Dam– hosted by SmithGroup and The Treeline Conservancy 

  1. Michigan Bicycle Law – 302 E. Liberty Ann Arbor 

  1. Argus Farm Stop – 325 Liberty St Ann Arbor (open 8am-10am)

  1. Wheeler Park, 200 Depot St., Ann Arbor – Hosted by City of Ann Arbor Parks (no snacks or beverages available)

  1. Abbot Elementary School - hosted by the Abbot Elementary PTO - 2670 Sequoia Pkwy, Ann Arbor, MI 48103 (Note students cannot be on campus unsupervised before 8:35am. - station time is 7:30am-9am)

  2. Scarlett Middle School - hosted by the Scarlett Middle PTO - 3300 Lorraine St. Ann Arbor - station time is 7:30am-8:30am, station will be by the bike racks near the flag
